EDvantage India has provided me with a number of training opportunities. I've done an internship programme in well engineering. The curriculum lasted three months and was practical in nature, requiring ex- tensive effort and study. The genuine casing design of our well based on the available real offset field data was the best aspect of this internship. My inter- est in deepwater well design was piqued during this assignment.
During my training with Edvantage India on "PVT
Data tuning and Artificial Lift modelling" I got to learn
about reservoir deliverability, well performance and
PVT data tuning in order to create an accurate picture
of reservoir performance. The faculty was a produc-
tion technologist and he covered every content from
basics till advanced. He was very responsive and
cleared my doubts even when the training period
ended. The training gave me lots of opportunities to
ask questions and dealt with practical field examples.
It gave me a clear understanding of nodal analysis
and how to perform production optimisation. I got to
perform sensitivity analysis of IPR curves on excel
and also got insights on how to deduce IPR and VLP
curves.
The Edvantage India team was very supportive
throughout. They provided us with the relevant
materials after the session. They are very approach-
able too. This wonderful training experience
enhanced my technical skills and also aided me
during my campus placement.
I recently got placed at Cairn Oil and Gas, to be honest words cannot convey my happiness that’s for sure. As far as I know the technical knowledge is the most important thing that a dream company looks for in candidates. I am really glad that I did few online trainings at right time with Edvantage India which at that time was known as Petroboosters. I did my first training on “Well Planning and Engineering” and then a 3 days workshop on “Directional Drilling”. This workshop on directional drilling under Amit sir really helped me understanding the various concepts which was quite helpful during my interview as almost 30-40% questions were based on Directional drilling.

In the review of Edvantage 1-month internship program introduction to Reservoir, Drilling, Well Completion, Well Intervention, and Well Completion I would give it four stars as being excellent and well delivered. This short course I found to be very useful as it assisted me with my academics, it provided extra knowledge that would be very useful in the world of work as it gave me a general awareness of the entire life of rigging operations, and I gained me Industrial exposure credits. This course was well put together as it was very interactive in and out of the desired sessions. Meeting time is flexible, and the lectures are provided for you if you aren’t able the make the meeting along with the course material. The lecture slides are well designed and attention-grabbing. I can say that I have benefitted from this course and would recommend it to my peers, I would definitely be taking more courses from Edvantage.
